Pharmacological properties of olive leaves
Phenolic compounds present in olive leaves, especially oleuropein, are associated with antioxidant, antihypertensive, hypoglycemic, hypocholesterolemic and cardioprotective activity. In this article, some studies that analyze the beneficial health effects of olive leaves are reviewed.
